Summary

Discover the wide range of accessibility features built into Microsoft tools that are available for all learners.  For students who access additional support with their learning, these tools can be essential for fostering independence and providing consistency whether they are at school or at home. Microsoft’s mission is “To empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more”. One of the ways they are realising this vision is by building an array of features and tools that can be easily utilised at no additional cost, and that can support a wide range of accessibility needs. This session will outline the range of tools and the needs and learning differences they can support. It will cover a range of demonstrations and explore practical examples of how they can be used. This session is designed for teachers, ASN specialists and learning assistants who have at least a familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office applications.
